 Being the parent of a teenager is filled with moments of joy as well as anxiousness.  None more so than the day we hand the car keys to our child.

      Operating a vehicle responsibly is sometimes in conflict with peer pressures, hurried time schedules, school activities or just caught up in “a good time.” 

The basis for IONKIDZ is a simple question: If your teenager is operating their vehicle in a questionable or unsafe manner…Do you, as a parent, want to know?

Your child knows the rules of driving safety….  But when you’re not in the vehicle with your child, let the community keep an IONKIDZ.

 How the service works:

• Register your teen’s vehicle with ION-KIDZ. (click on the above Register Now link)
• An IONKIDZ decal is mailed to your address. Place the decal on your teen’s vehicle.
• If a member of the community observes the vehicle operating in a questionable manner, they call (888) ION-KIDZ. The speech recognition hotline prompts the caller to say the license number and provide a detailed description of the incident.
• When the caller hangs up, the voice message is emailed directly to the Parent.
